Exploration Planning and Execution
Dr. Samal and our team has been advising various exploration projects so that the project meets the goals of the operating entity. Most recently he has advised a World Bank project in Nigeria.
Mineral Resource Estimation
Resource estimation is done using standard commercial software packages such as Vulcan (Maptek) and Isatis (Geovariances). A detailed step by step process is followed. The parameters used are well explained and geologically justified.
Applied Geostatistics
Geostatistics is a highly specialized subject. Dr Samal is trained and experienced in this area. In addition to the resource estimation, conditional simulation and various risk analyses work are also conducted as requested by projects. Isatis, world's best geostatistical software package is used.
Model - Mine - Mill (M3) Reconciliation
Reconciliation is the process of comparing plan to actual production in a mining operation. It can only identify the net impact of the errors in the process.
Reconciliation helps in measuring the performance of the operation (volume, grade, tons, etc.) against set targets (mine plan).
Statistical and Spatial Modeling of geological phenomena
Statistical and geostatistical modeling of the geochemical variables and developing predictive models. Such models area applicable in geoscience and environmental applications.
